The team did a deep dive to understand the process by dividing their fundamental business requirement into a must-have, good to have and redundant category. They looked at the complete leave, attendance and payroll process. They mapped it with the new lean process by removing redundancy, introducing automation to reduce the payroll cycle time and attendance leakage by reducing the workforce effort.
